The superiors of the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X published today another Open Letter to Leo XIV and to the Cardinals. The letter is no call to action nor a negotiating proposal but rather another public reaffirmation of the Fraternity's long-standing position. Attached is a 28-page document (English below) with the Catholic faith. This document repeatedly affirms strong papal authority adding that the pope possesses "supreme, full, immediate, and universal jurisdiction". The letter. Most Holy Father, Most Reverend Eminences, On the eve of the Consistory at the end of this month, and just days before the episcopal consecrations scheduled for 1 July in Écône, it seems to us that the time has come for the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X to make a full profession of Catholic Faith, which we wish to place in the hands of Your Holiness and each one of the Cardinals. Today the Church suffers under the pressure of new forces, coming both from within and without, which push her in …More
Profession of Faith #50 upholds Mary as Co-Redemptrix and Mediatrix: 50. "I profess that, thus united to her Divine Son, she merited by congruity in her Compassion what Christ merited by strict justice in His Passion; not as the principal cause of the Redemption, but as a subordinate associate, dependent upon and wholly relative to her Son, in one and the same act of the Redemption of our souls. It is in this sense that Catholic piety, supported by the traditional teaching of Popes and theologians, rightly calls her, by reason of this Compassion, ‘Co-redemptrix’, and consequently ‘Universal Mediatrix’"

What God Values, World Despises The world often misunderstands and undervalues spiritual pursuits, viewing them as wasteful. However, from God’s perspective, these pursuits are invaluable and essential for spiritual growth and becoming saints. We should embrace this perspective, focusing on God and living our lives for Him, regardless of worldly judgment. Fr. They arose from table, and whilst they were arranging their clothes, as they usually did before making their solemn prayer, the major-domo came in with two servants to take away the table. Jesus, standing in the midst of his Apostles, spoke to them long, in a most solemn manner. I could not repeat exactly his whole discourse, but I remember he spoke of his kingdom, of his going to his Father, of what he would leave them now that he was about to be taken away, etc. He also gave them some instructions concerning penance, the confession of sin, repentance, and justification. I felt that these instructions referred to the washing of the feet, and …More
"Jesus showed him to the other Apostles, and said, that when he should be no more present among them, Peter was to fill his place in their regard. Peter said: ‘Thou shalt never wash my feet!’ Our Lord replied: ‘If I wash thee not, thou shalt have no part with me.’ Then Peter exclaimed: ‘Lord, not only my feet, but also my hands and my head.’ Jesus replied: ‘He that is washed, needeth not but to wash his feet, but is clean wholly. And you are clean, but not all.’"

(FSSPX News) — In a statement published exclusively by American journalist Diane Montagna, Bishop Athanasius Schneider argues that the debate surrounding the Society of Saint Pius X cannot be understood without addressing the doctrinal and liturgical questions raised since the Second Vatican Council. He calls for a calm examination of what he considers to be the true heart of the problem: The questions and problems relating to the Priestly Society of Saint Pius X (SSPX) have been the subject of a largely fruitless debate for over 50 years and have now culminated in the announced episcopal consecrations, which have not yet been approved by the Holy See. The discussion has been fueled by emotion — often quite literally cum ira et studio — and is frequently conducted by individuals who lack direct familiarity with the relevant documents or personal experience of the SSPX. In many cases, their knowledge is superficial and shaped by preconceived judgments. As a result, the debate often …More
Italian historian Roberto de Mattei reflected on the announced episcopal consecrations by the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X (FSSPX) in an article published on CorrispondenzaRomana.it on June 24. "State of Necessity" Cannot Be Self-Judged For De Mattei, the state of necessity argument is simultaneously "the weakest and the strongest argument". His question is: "Who has the authority to verify the existence of such a state and determine its beginning and end?" He argues that if the FSSPX can independently determine when a state of necessity exists, then it also implicitly claims the authority to determine when that state ends. That would place the FSSPX in a position of judging the Holy See rather than being judged by it. De Mattei acknowledges that Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre was not a speculative theologian or canonist, but a pastor of souls: "The decisive criterion for him was not the assertion of a right proper to the FSSPX, but the spiritual need of the faithful." Can Any Bishop …More
The SSPX is not "self judging" the state of necessity. When Pope Leo XIV said that the SSPX's adherence to 20 church councils was a problem because, "they refuse to accept certain fundamental elements of the church," he admits that neither he nor the church he leads holds to the faith of those 29 councils, commonly known as the Apostolic faith. Thus, it is necessary to consecrate bishops nominated by those continuing to hold the Apostolic faith. We are very blessed that the Pope has made it clear that there is a schism of the Synodal Church from the Apostolic Faith. A declaration of excommunication would only make formal what Archbishop Lefebvre said at the outset, Vatican II was the intiation of a new faith.
"5. Therefore I, Jean Michel, to whom was entrusted and confided that divine office, by the grace of God served as the humble scribe of the present document by order of the council and of the venerable father Bernard, abbot of Clairvaux."
The original Latin Rule of Order was penned with the assistance of the young Cistercian Abbott, Bernard of Clairvaux. The rule is very similar to the modified Benedictine rule used by the Cistercian order. This makes perfect sense as the two orders were closely related and linked. The Primitive Rule of the Templars This translation of the original, or primitive, Rule of the Templars is based on the 1886 edition of Henri de Curzon, La Régle du Temple as a Military Manual, or How to Deliver a Cavalry Charge. It represents the Rule given to the fledgling Knights of the Temple by the Council of Troyes, 1129, although "it must not be forgotten that the Order had been in existence for several years and had built up its own traditions and customs before Hugues de Payens' appearance at the Council of Troyes. To a considerable extent, then, the Primitive Rule is based upon existing practices." (Upton-Ward, p. 11) This translation is excerpted from Judith Upton-Ward's The Rule of the Templars, …More

06/23/2026 Entire blog as a free PDF eBook. When you research nexiqa.com, which identifies itself as the “most critical AI,” presumably because it simply prioritizes information differently than mainstream AIs, Google labels it as “controversial.” It claims to have spread medical misinformation, deny the existence of viruses, and be vaccine-skeptical. This reminded me that such classifications have been made for centuries whenever someone makes a seemingly “outrageous” observation. The article published on Sunday on tkp.at began with this introduction: When one AI labels another as “unreliable.”Source.
