The Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X. (FSSPX) “sincerely regrets that, due to exceptional circumstances, these consecrations had to be conferred without the authorization of the Holy Father”, the general house said in a communiqué after the episcopal consecrations today in Ecône, Switzerland. “It particularly regrets that the Society’s Superior General did not have the opportunity to meet personally with His Holiness Pope Leo XIV to explain, in a spirit of filial devotion, the grave reasons that made this ceremony necessary.” At the same time, the statement speaks of a profound joy inspired by these episcopal consecrations. #newsVluwxevdyp
Plinio Corrêa de Oliveira From an informal lecture on July 1, 1965 (*) To understand the devotion to the Most Precious Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ, we should look carefully at the meaning of blood and blood that is shed. By doing this, we can then consider the meaning of the shedding of the Precious Blood of Christ. We all know that blood is biologically part of our body. However, blood is also intimately associated with the vital element of the individual as a person. That is why we give to the Blood of Christ all the adoration due to Christ Himself. Our blood is naturally meant to be inside the body. Hence, every time we bleed, it is something of an unnatural or catastrophic nature. Many illnesses, for example, are perceived by bleeding caused by some malfunction inside the body. Bleeding is almost a sign of alarm, which because of its violence, calls attention to the fact that something is terribly wrong with the person. Besides illnesses, bleeding also calls to mind fighting and …थप
Austrian Diocese Celebrates Homosexual Service: Pastoral assistant Elisabeth Fritzl of the Diocese of Graz-Seckau took part in an ecumenical service held on June 24 as part of the official programme of the Graz homosexual march. She subsequently published a propaganda piece on the diocesan website and in the diocesan newspaper celebrating the event with numerous rainbow-themed photographs.

Leo XIV has overhauled the Vatican's financial watchdog, replacing its long-standing board-led structure with a director appointed directly by the pope. The reform, contained in a chirograph published June 30, introduces a new statute for the Authority for Financial Supervision and Information (ASIF). This body is responsible for combating money laundering and supervising the Vatican's financial system. The biggest change is institutional. Until now, ASIF was governed by a president and board - a model resembling those used by many central banks and independent financial regulators. The new statute abolishes that structure. Instead, ASIF will be headed by a director, assisted by a deputy director, both appointed by the pope for five-year terms. The authority's annual report and budget will also be submitted directly to the Council for the Economy. The statute replaces the previous board with a single papally appointed leadership, a governance model that more closely resembles that of …थप
15,000 People Attend the Episcopal Consecration: Around fifteen thousand laypeople and a thousand priests and religious currently attend the episcopal consecration in Ecône, Switzerland. During the consecration sermon, Father Davide Pagliarani advanced the strange argument that "we belong to the same Church because we have the same faith," even though the controversy concerns questions of ecclesiastical authority rather than the content of the faith.

Archbishop BANS Catholics From Praying On His Own Cathedral Steps Christ The King Archbishop Robert Casey, Archbishop of Cincinnati, told a Catholic men’s group that they were forbidden to pray the Rosary on the steps of the Cathedral during Cincinnati’s annual Pride Parade. The Archbishop said he wanted to remain “neutral” toward the Pride Parade. Scripture, the Fathers of the Church and the Catechism state that a bishop can’t be neutral toward sin. The Superior General of the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X, Don Davide Pagliarani, has replied to Leo XIV, asking him to take more time before making any decision concerning the FSSPX. "One day, all the difficulties between the Holy See and the Society will be resolved." The letter. The Superior General To His Holiness Pope Leo XIV Ecône, 30 June 2026 Most Holy Father, Thank you very much for the letter that Your Holiness so kindly addressed to me. I have been deeply touched by Your paternal solicitude. For a long time, I had hoped to have the opportunity of meeting You in person, in order to express to You directly our sincere desire to serve the Church. Unfortunately, that opportunity has not presented itself. I ask only that You consider the sincerity of this intention, which is in no way feigned. Paradoxically, in the present circumstances, we believe it to be our very duty to do everything possible to mend Christ's seamless garment, torn by forces and pressures incompatible …थप
@brhenry You have reached for a very strained reading of the SSPX response. Something along the order of what we would expect from bomb throwers. A common sense reading (which is clearly what was intended) would be "Don't act impulsively." The SSPX has never given even the slightest hint that they have ever been looking for a "compromise."
"Kicking the can down the road" has been the problem from the beginning with all disciplinary issues in the Church, including the 1962 Missal sectarian problem. Essentially, the SSPX wants the Vatican to take a modernist "inclusive, all are welcome" approach. Hopefully the Holy Father demands repentance and full reconciliation for years of schism.
Thomas's doubt helps us believe... July 3 - Feast of St. Thomas the Apostle Dear brothers and sisters, the doubt of St. Thomas the Apostle, whose feast we celebrate on July 3, who, to believe in the Resurrection of Jesus, wanted to see and personally touch the Risen One, can help this poor, once-Christian West of ours return to the roots of its greatness. Faith is a human act (CCC 154). In our hyper-modern, and unfortunately no longer Christian, Western world, we all feel, especially young people, somehow represented by St. Thomas, in our need to "see and touch," firsthand, in order to believe. Jesus knows very well how we are made, and the entire Gospel of John tells us how the disciples come to faith in Jesus through seeing, touching, and reflecting on the signs He performed. The supernatural gift of faith not only does not exclude, but requires the participation of the whole person, in all their dimensions. A true experience of faith, therefore, presupposes the participation of the …थप
June 30, 1988 Your Excellency, dear Bishop de Castro Mayer, my most dear friends, my dear brethren, Behold, here we are gathered for a ceremony, which is certainly historic. Let me, first of all, give you some information. The first might surprise you a little, as it did me. Yesterday evening, a visitor came, sent from the nunciature in Berne, with an envelope containing an appeal from our Holy Father the Pope, who was putting at my disposal a car which was supposed to take me to Rome yesterday evening, so that I would not be able to perform these consecrations today. I was told neither for what reason, nor where I had to go! I leave you to judge for yourselves the timeliness and wisdom of such a request. I went to Rome for many, many days during the past year, even for weeks; the Holy Father did not invite me to come and see him. I would certainly have been glad to see him if some agreement would have been finalized. So here you have the information. I give it to you simply, as I myself …थप
The episcopal consecrations in Ecône, Switzerland, today should lead the Church to reconsider the restrictions on the Mass in the Roman rite, Cardinal Gerhard Müller told IlGiornale.it on July 1. The restrictions imposed by Traditionis Custodes (2021) have only strengthened the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X (FSSPX) by giving them "a symbol of dissent against Rome". They have "almost served as propaganda" for them. According to Cardinal Müller, Traditionis Custodes "has not had a positive effect": "Using an authoritarian approach to demand blind obedience is not our way." He praised Benedict XVI's Summorum Pontificum (2007) for bringing "a great deal of peace" to the Church, adding: "One cannot prohibit the rite in its ancient form." The ancient Mass cannot be harmful when "the saints and the Fathers of the Church celebrated in this form." Cardinal Müller rejected the claim that those attached to the ancient rite reject the Second Vatican Council, arguing instead that the …थप
Glad I saw through these men years ago. Starting with Cardinal Burke. First one to run from. The one I was disappointed in slightly was Cardinal Sarah. I had my hope on him to do better and be better. I don't hear much about Cardinal Arinze. I hope he is not joining them. But I have a feeling he has. All of them lost and confused. Like The Holy Apostles when Christ was arrested they abandon Christ. Now they abandon Him again, His Church and the people. Not one stood up for Him. Not one defended Him. And it's all happening again trying to save their positions and life. Forgetting He who gave His life for us.
Has anyone listened to the Catholic apologist on Catholic Answers or EWTN. If so I would be interested in any and all comments, criticisms, praise or questions.

Today, Leo XIV issued the Motu Proprio Confirma Fratres Tuos, which replaces the apostolic constitution In Ecclesiarum Communione, promulgated by Pope Francis in January 2023, which governed the vicariate of Rome. According to the new constitution: • The Cardinal Vicar regains primary executive authority over the Vicariate and assumes greater responsibility for its day-to-day governance while remaining accountable to the Pope. • The Episcopal Council is no longer a decision-making body, but rather a consultative one. The Cardinal Vicar will chair it rather than the Pope. • A new office, the Moderator Curiae, is established. The Moderator Curiae is appointed for a five-year term to coordinate the Vicariate's offices, oversee personnel, and manage administrative operations. • The Vicegerent continues in a supporting role while transferring many administrative coordination responsibilities to the Moderator Curiae. #newsEtjyapertd
On June 27, an Asian cardinal criticized at the consistory the continuing restrictions on the Mass in the Roman rite, reports IlGiornale.it. The Cardinal argued that if they were lifted, it would be much easier to attract faithful prepared to leave the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X. There are three dozen Asian cardinals. The most outspoken in support of the ancient Roman rite are Cardinals Malcolm Ranjith of Colombo, Sri Lanka, and William Goh of Singapore. Picture: AI, #newsFeyawfwlyc
Weather Deteriorated During Episcoapal Consecration: As the consecration began in Écône, a downpour doused the faithful in the field outside the tent. Meanwhile, the organ played Handel's "Lascia ch'io pianga": "Let me weep over my cruel fate, and sigh for freedom."
1. July 2026 1. July 2026 07/01/2026 Entire blog as a free PDF eBook. I wrote about the fact that the pharmaceutical industry is a mafia more than five years ago. Now, using yesterday’s article on thedigger.co as an example—Inclisiran: How the NHS Became a Tool of Industrial Policy—you can follow, step by step, the entire process of approving an untested “drug” chosen by the mafia to unhealthily lower cholesterol levels necessary for life. The quotation marks around the word “drug” will become unnecessary if we agree with my definition of this substance: Drug – a chemical substance administered to alleviate symptoms or adjust laboratory test results to standards manipulated by the pharmaceutical industry, without triggering self-healing processes, and causing additional diseases. The issue of money in medicine is important, but it’s complex and difficult to grasp intuitively. To unpack this problem, I’ll show you the pathway of onedrug, from its discovery all the way through to its …
